{"id":29499,"date":"2021-12-10T10:53:01","date_gmt":"2021-12-10T09:53:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/helsinkiespana.org\/clausura-jovenes-para-jovenes-madrid\/"},"modified":"2021-12-13T16:02:24","modified_gmt":"2021-12-13T15:02:24","slug":"closing-ceremony-of-youth-for-youth-program-in-madrid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/helsinkiespana.org\/en\/closing-ceremony-of-youth-for-youth-program-in-madrid\/","title":{"rendered":"Closing ceremony of Youth for Youth Program in Madrid"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today, December 10, is <strong>International Human Rights Day<\/strong>, and coinciding with this date from <strong>Helsinki Spain<\/strong> we have decided to celebrate the closing of our <strong>Project &#8220;Youth for Youth&#8221;<\/strong> at the School of Industrial Organization, in Madrid.<\/p>\n<p>For this, we have had the presence of some of our volunteers, expert speakers and experts who have made the project training course possible, and the staff of <strong>Helsinki Spain<\/strong>. Thus, we have accompanied and applauded the magnificent volunteer work of the young people during the project.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony began with a few words from <strong>Mar\u00eda Ja\u00e9n Barandiar\u00e1n<\/strong>, President of the organization, and then continued with a brief presentation by the Project Coordinator, Yaryna Vovk, about other active initiatives by the Association with the aim of making them known. After this, we have heard words from <strong>Carmen Jord\u00e1<\/strong>, speaker Doctor in Public Law, specialized in society, technology and security; Professor at the Camilo Jos\u00e9 Cela University and head of Prosegur&#8217;s Intelligence and Prospective Office. In addition, Marina de Orbe Ant\u00f3n &#8211; Pacheco, Director of Education and Volunteering, has read the letter of support for <strong>\u201cJ\u00f3venes para J\u00f3venes\u201d<\/strong> from the Santa Beatriz de Silva center in Madrid and a video with photos and videos of the training and the sessions of this edition and that the volunteers had sent during these past weeks. The closing has continued with the testimony of Victory Collins and Dylan Andr\u00e9s Garc\u00eda, two of the participants in this edition.<\/p>\n<p>Before concluding, we have resolved our \u201cTik Tok for Human Rights\u201d contest, which was launched about a month ago, giving the prizes to the three winning couples.
