{"id":30167,"date":"2022-07-13T14:43:10","date_gmt":"2022-07-13T12:43:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/helsinkiespana.org\/?p=30167"},"modified":"2022-07-13T15:05:14","modified_gmt":"2022-07-13T13:05:14","slug":"tools-for-mainstreaming-gender-equality-in-the-classroom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/helsinkiespana.org\/en\/tools-for-mainstreaming-gender-equality-in-the-classroom\/","title":{"rendered":"Tools for mainstreaming gender equality in the classroom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">We open the call for our <b>awareness<\/b> course aimed at teaching staff in which the following topics will be discussed:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"p1\">Explanation about the sex-gender system and its repercussions in the personal and in the social structure.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">The effect that this system of gender division has on the educational system.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">With everything collected, tools will be offered to promote positive social change in the classroom.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Objetives<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\">Provide teaching staff with the necessary tools to <b>identify inequalities<\/b> in the educational field, and <b>to develop a non-sexist education<\/b> that provides values \u200b\u200bof equality and <b>contributes to overcoming discrimination and social prejudice<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Provide the necessary resources to carry out egalitarian educational practices in the classroom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">We will have <b>Celia Garrido<\/b>, who has previously collaborated with us in different formations with a gender perspective.
