Conflict Analysis &
Conflict Sensitivity Programming
This five-day residential course seeks to train participants in conflict analysis and conflict-sensitive programming tools. This approach requires a deep understanding of the actors in the conflict, as well as the two-way interaction between an intervention and the context.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to analyze the causes, actors and dynamics of conflict, as well as gender elements and other identity-based mechanisms of exclusion that can be drivers of conflict. Participants will also learn about the tools needed to develop programs to promote equality as an integral element of conflict-sensitive programming and use conflict-sensitive communication strategies.
