Nebrija University and Helsinki España – Dimensión Humana have signed a collaboration agreement aimed at strengthening academic, cultural, and educational cooperation in key areas such as human rights, democratic values, and the development of global citizenship.
The agreement was signed by the Rector of Nebrija University, José Muñiz, and the President of Helsinki España, María Jaén, during an official ceremony held in Madrid. The partnership includes the joint organization of seminars, courses, conferences, and academic events, as well as the exchange of students, faculty, and researchers, the development of shared research projects, and mutual academic support.
The signing ceremony was also attended by Luis Díaz, Director General of Nebrija University; Alfonso López de la Osa, Dean of the School of Law and International Relations; Adela Alija, Director of the Department of International Relations; and Gracia Abad, Professor of International Relations.
Through this alliance, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to transformative education, the promotion of human rights, peacebuilding, and sustainable development.
Since its foundation in 1992, Helsinki España has signed agreements with universities around the world, seeking to maintain a close and ongoing connection with the academic community—just as it does with international organizations operating in the field and in peacekeeping missions. This dual engagement allows the organization to design educational programs that are both current and grounded in real-world challenges.
